Changelog
Current · v1.0.1Follow what we're building to make browser Minecraft cleaner, faster and safer.
1.0.1 — polish & reliability
A round of post-launch polish: a redesigned homepage hero built around a big 3D mascot head over a soft violet mesh, plus a fix for the head's left/right and underside texture mapping. The game still boots straight into play with no countdown, and cloud sync now surfaces a clear error instead of silently failing — alongside a quieter browser console.
MinePlay 1.0 — installable & offline
The 1.0 launch. MinePlay is now a full progressive web app — install it to your home screen or desktop and it keeps working offline. Added real Minecraft player-head avatars, a redesigned version picker on the play page, and a full SEO, structured-data and accessibility pass for launch.
Cloud backups & account sync
Sign in with Google and your worlds back up to the cloud automatically, restoring on any device. Added storage usage and one-click .mpsv export/import from your account.
Live server list
The server list now pings every Eaglercraft server in real time over wss://, sorting by players, latency and votes, with mode filters for Survival, PvP, SkyBlock, Creative and Minigames. Anyone can submit a server for review.
Version picker & full-screen play
Default client moved to EaglercraftX 1.8.8 for faster loads and resource-pack import. Kept the lightweight 1.5.2 for low-end Chromebooks and added 1.12 — each opens on its own full-screen play page.
Guides, FAQ & playing with friends
Launched the guides hub — how to play, playing unblocked at school, and world import/export — plus a walkthrough for private co-op over LAN / WebRTC with no server to host.
MinePlay beta
The first public beta: browser singleplayer powered by Eaglercraft, automatic in-browser world saves, and a brand-new design.
