Build anything you can imagine — play now

MinePlay is a free way to play Minecraft online without downloading or installing anything. It runs Eaglercraft — an open-source port of Minecraft Java Edition that compiles the game to JavaScript and WebAssembly so it runs natively inside your browser tab.

Because everything happens in the browser, there's nothing to install and nothing for an IT filter to block. That makes MinePlay one of the easiest ways to play Minecraft unblocked at school, on a locked-down Chromebook, or on any device where you can't install software.

You get singleplayer worlds, multiplayer servers, creative and survival modes, resource packs and more — the full sandbox, no launcher required.

Worlds that follow you anywhere

Singleplayer worlds save automatically inside your browser. Back them up by exporting an .mpsv file, then import it on another computer, a different browser, or send it to a friend — all your progress comes with it.

⚠ Browser saves can be wiped if you clear site data or your school resets the cache. Export your worlds regularly — your account keeps cloud backups too.

Minecraft unblocked at school

No installs means nothing for the school filter to block. MinePlay loads as a normal web page, so you can play Minecraft on a Chromebook during a free period — just keep it school-appropriate. Read our quick guide on playing safely and responsibly.
