What is Eaglercraft?
Eaglercraft is an open-source browser port of Minecraft Java Edition. It lets you play the full authentic Minecraft experience (survival, creative, multiplayer) directly in any modern web browser – including school Chromebooks, phones, and low-end devices. No download. No Minecraft account required.
How does it work?
Eaglercraft was created by compiling Minecraft’s Java code to JavaScript using TeaVM. A custom compatibility layer by LAX1DUDE translates the original OpenGL rendering to WebGL so the game runs smoothly in the browser. For multiplayer, it uses a special WebSocket proxy plugin that connects your browser to real Minecraft Java servers.

Singleplayer & Shared Worlds
Play offline with worlds saved in your browser. You can also invite friends to join your singleplayer world using a simple join code – no server needed.
Who made Eaglercraft?
Originally developed by LAX1DUDE in late 2021. Later contributions from ayunami2000 and many community developers made it even better. The project is fully open-source and decentralized.
